The House of Agroecology, the European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture (EARA), and One Planet Business for Biodiversity (OP2B) invite you to the third edition of our Financial Instruments for Farm Transition series.
This full-day event will bring together farmers, financial institutions, insurers, public investors, food companies and policymakers to move beyond pilots and explore how financing solutions for regenerative and agroecological agriculture can work in practice and at scale.
This year’s programme will focus particularly on:
- How insurance products can better reflect the risks and opportunities associated with farm transition.
- How impact bonds and blended-finance structures can help de-risk investment in agriculture.
- How public funding can be used more strategically to mobilise private capital.
- What financial institutions, farmers, public authorities and value-chain actors need to make these instruments operational.
- How systemic risks, including those identified in EARA’s Valencia Watershed case study, can inform investment and risk-management approaches.
The event will also feature the presentation of Covalo-Belgium by House of Agroecology, the launch of EARA’s report Regenerating Systemic Risk: The Valencia Case Study, and a presentation of OP2B’s new modelling study on leveraging private capital through public subsidies.
